The carrier works very well, the bikes are held firmly and it's quick and easy to handle. As for the security and the quick-release fasteners that some people complain about, I have no reason to doubt them – if a thief is determined enough, you'll lose your bikes on any carrier, but for someone to just come along and unclip the bikes is simply not possible if they're locked with the supplied cable behind the lockable steel pin (which also locks the carrier to the tow ball). And there's no risk of it popping off either – after all, a quick-release on a seat post can easily hold a rider weighing over a hundred kilos. The only real minus for me is the number plate holder, which I think is by far the biggest problem with the whole carrier, and the missing end caps for the tubes in the bag, where there's a risk of it getting punctured. But I'll put the caps on myself and will probably order the number plate holder with quick-release fasteners. In my opinion, though, the manufacturer should have sorted these things out, so I'm knocking a star off for that.
The carrier can be folded and unfolded in a jiffy and is easy to carry thanks to its case.
Tested for about 150km (on-road and light off-road) with 2x MTBs and a gravel bike. The bikes are held firmly, the quick-release and ratcheting strap system is reliable and looks pretty robust.
The newer version with the locking steel wedge and rubberised cable works brilliantly from a security point of view. There's no risk of the bikes being quickly stolen without a key, and the carrier is also locked to the tow bar.
The current mechanism for attaching the number plate with springs seems to be the weakest link - the frame is quite difficult to attach, the plastic could break over time, and it has to be removed to fold the carrier completely.
The sharp edges of the tubes can rip through the carry bag without additional caps (they quickly destroyed the original cardboard insert). I don't understand why there isn't at least a rubber cap.
Attaching the central rod to the ball requires a bit of practice and the right angle to get it to click into place properly. But you try it a few times and then it's quick.

But - even though the description says 100-130 cm wheelbase, the modern mountain bike with 120 wheelbase was positioned so that the wheels were on the very edges of the bars and it didn't look very stable. The middle bar when attached to the frame isn't very solid either (it only holds in the rack via a quick release) and the whole bike wobbled in the rack, so I didn't have much confidence in it.
