OK for 35mm^2 CYA and smaller. They also split CYKY 4x6mm^2 and 5x4mm^2, but they probably took out a piece of the blade. Overall I've chipped in quite a bit and for the money good, your kids won't inherit functional ones though.
Cheap and functional
Non-ergonomic for thicker cables
Jaws are soft, my tooth got bitten out quickly - so far they are holding, but the lifetime will not be dizzying
