We had a modem from O2 (year 2017) and we promised from this an improvement of the signal across the apartment and especially speed. Both fulfilled. We have internet from Vodafone, so it took a bit of setting up (O2_VDSL, username and password both: vodafone).
I don't know what it is, but some devices on the local network are not communicating well with this router. Packets are dropping. That's enough. However, the internet connection (WAN via DSL) is good and stable. Complained 3 times already, same problem every time. Latest firmware version.

Someone wrote here that the modem doesn't support Annex B (which according to the website is required by Vodafone - other operators O2 and Tmobile have pre-prepared profiles in the modem), but this is a partial truth. In October 24, the firmware was released, which after installation you get the possibility of Annex B (at least it worked for me for the v1 version of the modem).
Specifically, just look for Archer VX1800v(EU)_V1_240925 on the manufacturer's website
download and then copy the extracted .bit file to the modem via LAN cable via the user interface (Sytem Tools-> Firmware Upgrade). After restarting the DSL line settings, Annex B will be available for selection.

In the remote room, my wifi disconnects from the PC, which the older modem/router didn't do. The signal is good according to the measurements. Maybe my settings are wrong, or the signal is shattering on the walls, or the problem is in my PC. When I use the wifi repeater, it's no problem.
