First day, purchased as a replacement for O2 Smart box. The Deco is connected to the terminator and I have bonding on the DSL line, I thought it would be a bit of a tooth breaker, but within 5 minutes it connected to the terminator after setting up and it's working like a charm. Adding satellites quickly, updating all satellites at the same time, all without problems. I was expecting that my network of about 70 devices would make bigger problems, but no. All services up and running within an hour. Ground floor, first floor and basement. Speed everywhere 40-50Mbit down and 8-10Mbit up, including the garden. Who has bonding, let's throw away the Smartbox and spend deco. I know it's probably too early to judge after 1 day, but I'm excited! By the way. For years, my phone has been disconnecting. Both Note8, Note10 and Note20. Wifie was connected, but the phone was not connected. After connecting to the deco, I go all day on wifi and data or turn off and on wifi on the phone I did not have to. Peck!
partially fulfilled the purpose (I have internet where I needed it - but with a big drop in speed/decrease in signal strength)
surprisingly for me a bigger drop in internet speed/drop in signal strength when moving away from the unit than I expected
significant drop in internet speed/ signal strength between floors (and between units on different floors)
the coverage area mentioned in the description should be taken with a considerable margin (but this is probably true for all similar products)
they write that more Deco units create 1 network within which it is possible to move the device without interruption, but I have noticed a couple of times that the connection to the net for a short time occasionally breaks when I move from the range of 1 unit to another
The benefits of having a functional mesh network outweigh the negatives significantly with the setup and app.
Problems with the first setup and pairing
In my opinion, the application is cluttered
Changing the mode from router ( default) to AP required a complete reset and re-setting of the primary station, then changing the mode to AP and only then connecting the other stations
