The TP-Link EAP225 is a reliable ceiling-mounted WiFi access point that works well in offices as well as smaller professional installations such as schools or hotels. Thanks to the dual-band operation of AC1350 (450 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps at 5 GHz) and MU-MIMO technology, high-quality communication with multiple devices at the same time is ensured. It supports PoE power so installation is flexible, and with Omada software or a cloud account, the AP can be conveniently managed remotely. Overall, the TP-Link EAP225 is a solid and affordable choice for professional WiFi deployments where you don't need ultra-high speed WiFi 6, but want a stable network with central management and mesh expansion.
dual-band AC1350 operation with MU-MIMO for multiple devices
Flexible power supply via passive PoE and adapter
Omada software or cloud management support
Beamforming and Band Steering technology for a more stable signal
mesh network option for WiFi expansion
good value for money, suitable for professional installations without expensive licenses
only one LAN port, for more wired connections it is necessary to buy a switch
WiFi 5, not the latest WiFi 6, so less throughput on extremely fast networks
antennas are non-removable, so fewer options to optimize signal direction
setting up some advanced features requires a bit of experience or documentation

It works as it should.
There was no PoE data cable in the package(probably my mistake, I should have read the package contents)

It's exactly what I was looking for. An access point with the ability to split WiFi traffic into VLANs and allow firewall access to other parts of the network directly on my router.
The ability to manage the access point via the web interface is also a pleasure, no need to install special software. If you plan to deploy many of these access points, it is of course possible to install management software, even for Linux, which is certainly a big plus for administrators.
It allows you to optimize the connection of differently fast devices, the overall throughput is radically increased.
It is not a problem to achieve real transfer speeds of 450 Mbit/s over the home network.
Unlike Ubiquiti access points, the web interface makes commissioning and initial setup easy and hassle-free. I was unable to get Ubiquiti to work even after two days of trying hard. I had the TP-Link EAP225 completely set up and running, including VLANs and everything else, in half a day.
For those planning a VLAN deployment, you may be surprised to learn that you need to use an untagged subnet to access the web interface, even if each of the SSIDs is set to be tagged. In short, you need to either untag one subnet or create a new untagged subnet on the router.
