The Tapo app is intuitive, the product works well. Eventually, I would like to switch to a Home Assistant setup and integrate all devices under one roof (app) and limit or completely eliminate the use of the cloud. I'm not sure how much of this will be possible with Tapo devices - there is some integration, but I've read in several places that without the cloud at least you can't use features like power/power monitoring.
