So I've been playing around with the equaliser settings for a second day now and I've more or less managed it. It seems to me that the speakers have opened up a bit. The right satellite has a different sound, but playing with the settings has neutralised it a bit. We'll see, I have 14 days to decide. I've set up different equaliser presets for vocals and for music.
Arrived today and I'll be returning it. I wasn't expecting an absolute miracle. I managed to set it up using the equaliser, but one (the right) satellite speaker is quiet, lacking mids and highs. The left one plays quite decently, but the right one is pretty poor, so I'll pack it up and send it back.

Pretty good for the price
A strange bass undertone when listening
Compared to others in its class, at around 1500, it’s not much to write home about

sound quality
the second one, which after a short while of use starts to show a very annoying and loud humming noise. It gets lost in the music during sound reproduction but it is worst during silence. even turning the volume down doesn't help. you need to shut it down hard.

At that price, the somewhat boxy sound with missing treble is understandable. The 150mm bass does what it can. Despite the two holes in the front panels, the satellites are 1-way. It's not for audio geeks, but with an equalizer (e.g. APO with Peace interface) it's something completely different. The speech is then very much more acceptable, I would say good. The power of the amplifier is sufficient for normal and slightly louder listening. I appreciate that it doesn't hum or buzz even at maximum (inherent noise/noise without signal).
Decent price
Connectivity
External volume control with AUX and headphone output
Good in appearance
Set 2+1
Satellites are single band
