Like having it on your keys and being able to call it when you need to find it within range, so good. But I wanted to put it in my car so I wouldn't forget which street I was parked on, and usually the location varies from 20 to 600m from the actual location. If knowing roughly which part the locator is in is not enough for you and you don't want to use it to beep a handheld thing, I rather don't recommend it.
