Above and beyond expectations. It'll run everything in my library on Steam. I use it mainly as a desktop solution because of the apartment renovation. The alternative power setup comes out significantly more expensive.
Knowing that Steam decks at this price would no longer be available, I bought two with the intention of selling one and keeping the other (1TB vs 512gb OLED). I opted for the 512GB version and already regret not getting the 1TB. After getting used to the Linux OS, this is the best thing I've bought lately. Emulators, gaming, movies, work. The only drawback is the poor battery life during demanding activities, the battery doesn't even hold a charge only via USB. I recommend getting a power bank with min. with a power of 45W.
