I bought the battery in March 2025; it lasted the whole season on the motorbike without any problems, was recharged for the winter and stored in a warm place; at the end of February 2026, a test start went without a hitch, At the end of March, I wanted to go for a ride but the battery wouldn’t start. I recharged it using a smart charger designed for that purpose; according to the readings, the battery was fully charged, but it still wouldn’t start. I sent it in for a warranty claim to the Efteria service centre as instructed, The claim was rejected on the grounds that I had mechanically damaged the battery cover – nonsense. I lodged an appeal against the rejection of my complaint – it was rejected again; the service centre didn’t even bother to prove that I had caused mechanical damage to the battery and simply sent me the same statement again. I’m disappointed with the way Alza has handled this whole matter, and I wouldn’t recommend buying this battery from Alza! A photo taken after it was returned from the repair shop; I was looking for that mechanical damage, and the only thing that might resemble it is a slightly raised protective strip in the top left-hand corner, but it already looked like that when I bought the battery (unfortunately, I don’t have a photo from when I bought it)
After a year, it stopped starting and wouldn’t charge; the complaint was rejected on the grounds that I had caused mechanical damage to it (nonsense, of course – just an excuse from the service centre)

Otherwise, the Varta battery product is of high quality in perfect execution as well as in the instructions and packaging.
But beware, the dimension figures in cm are non-standard, the first figure is supposed to be length, width, and height, but they have height, width, and length and that's why my battery doesn't fit the moto and had to return it.
