The pliers have basically been a useless piece of kit since the very first use. The only thing that sort of works is the stripping and cutting blade. The crimping jaw goes into the connector crookedly, so the connector's contacts bend completely, go in at an angle and one of two scenarios always happens. Option 1) about half the contacts are crimped sufficiently and the other half aren't, so the connector doesn't work. Option 2) the contacts go in crookedly next to the wires and you crush the plastic dividers between the contacts. As a replacement, I invested in and bought the W-star WS7018 pliers and I can't complain, they've been brilliant from the very first connector.
