Good speed. An 8GB file copies via USB C (Thunderbolt) at a speed of 320MB/s, increasing to 390MB/s halfway through. When copying the same file via USB A, the speed is a stable 350MB/s. So far, only my SanDisk has beaten it at 650MB/s, but that one is twice as expensive.
It gets hot like any flash drive, but the metal casing certainly dissipates heat well because it cools down quickly after being unplugged.
The cap really doesn't stay on very well, as everyone writes. You just have to wave it and it falls off. I solved this by carefully bending the plastic inside the cap inwards a bit, so it provides some resistance and the cap doesn't fall off so easily.
