it wasn't bad, just quite short and lacked depth
very short, the characters weren't captured in much detail, nor were their motives that led to their behaviour

A well-handled psychological theme of a seemingly "normal" family.
Very pessimistic tone, definitely won't improve the reader's mood, quite the opposite in fact. Nevertheless, I recommend reading the book.
