It's cooling.
Very noisy. I bought it because of the reviews that said it was not noisy... I can't compare it to any other air conditioner, but noisier than a fan. I would compare it to the noise of an old cooker hood that is turned up to maximum. Lots of hum. Night mode still just as noisy.
