I really took care with the selection I also read something about the manufacturer so I certainly don't want to put him down his equipment is great but in night mode you can hear the bearing working and it makes a pulsating buzzing sound. It's a faint sound but I measured it with a noise meter and 35 dB at night is just audible. A sound that is definitely impossible to fall asleep to. Of course there must be some noise, just the rushing air makes noise but the rotating bearing is really the problem. on the other hand, maybe it is just a defective piece, but I have read in reviews that someone complained about vibrating plastics that do not lie. I had to return it because I want it in my bedroom and it would be impossible to live with. I bought a completely different brand, Levoit and I have to say that super really quiet - it will already sleep beautifully no unwanted unpleasant noises
