First impressions using it with an old Samsung TV are good - fully working.

For me OK price/performance ratio except for one negative, see below.
Occasionally, when you turn on the TV, the Xiaomi TV app automatically starts in the background. So I have to go to the app and launch it manually to close it 🤦🏻♂️

It works as it should I got it to watch hbo max and since max is data intensive it sometimes stutters but for all other services it runs nicely

In the original version without 4k absolutely perfect device as a TV extension of Google TV
I have 4 devices in my home all original without 4K and I am completely satisfied
The new 4K device I have is the second complaint. After some time it reports that WiFi is not available and nothing can be done. Connecting the remote control is no longer possible.

It's choppy, it's crappy, the wifi reception is laughable, at least compared to Chromecast. I returned it.
