Thanks to its weight and ease of handling, it’s handy for tidying up cat litter, a messed-up flower pot, spilled flour, or just random bits of rubbish before I lay my exercise mat on the floor. It can handle all of this at a lower power setting. The taller one would probably only be needed for the carpet. However, if you do want to use this mode, you’ll only be able to vacuum a small flat at most, as the battery doesn’t last very long. However, hair gets caught in the wheels of the lower attachment, so you need to free it out from time to time, otherwise the wheels will jam. Taking out the rubbish isn’t exactly convenient. You need to remove the entire tube, then split the vacuum cleaner into two parts – you’ll probably have to set one of them down somewhere – and then you’ll need to take out the filter; only then can you empty out the dust. Then you have to put it all back together again. I’ve seen much simpler solutions that take less than five seconds. I’d also like either a stand or (given how light it is) a hook to hang it up on. So, before storing the vacuum cleaner, you need to either take it apart or prop it up neatly in a corner so that it doesn’t fall over.
