Not recommended. After a couple of months, the handles started to go into the insert incorrectly. After a year, it was so serious that every retraction required excessive effort and took time. I complained and got a new insert. At the beginning everything OK, but after a couple of months the same problem, which again after a longer time deteriorated so much that it was no longer comfortable to use. Unfortunately, the warranty is over, so I have an expensive cartridge for nothing. A cartridge for almost 1k, which lasts barely a year and there are only 2 cranks to it is really useless.
Verified purchase - review from a price comparison website
Design, material, everything is fine, only the keys are ridiculously expensive, in addition, their folding structure is completely useless, they do not fulfill any function - the key only has elements on about a third of the length.
It fulfilled what I expected - flexibility at a higher purchase price
They couldn' t find the keys, and they demanded more from the specialists for 3 spare keys than the entire insert cost - for this additional price increase, it' s nonsense to buy
I don't recommend the insert.
If I hadn't ripped the head off the Allen key, he would have returned it, but unfortunately I can't do that anymore.
I assembled the length of the insert according to the original insert - when I tightened the Allen wrenches for the length on the outside, the Allen wrench turned in the head of the Allen screw. Apparently the screws are made of cheap material.
Since I don't secure the apartment/house, I left the liner in, but plan to eventually throw it out and buy something "normal".
The door insert doesn't really fit and the extensions are short so there is a gap - see attached photo. Maybe a different combination of extensions would improve it, but I'll never replace those because the Allen is torn off.
There was no problem with the original insert, it fit in the door without any problems, but unfortunately it didn't have a pass-through clutch, so I bought another one and this really wasn't a good choice.
The wrench is weird and I suppose with regular use it would break off and there would be nothing to turn.
The key goes into the lock very stiffly, but fortunately it only serves as a backup when the "smart" lock inside is discharged, which fortunately I did not buy Yale, but another brand.
I assumed Yale could make locks, but this is a big disappointment.
super clever installation of the smart lock with this insert
you could probably buy a longer insert at a locksmith much cheaper
