If it was my first iron, which it isn't, I wouldn't worry about it and think everything is ok. The opposite is true. It is my second iron from the same brand and the quality is somewhere else. It seems to me that it is not a Zelmer product at all, that it is some kind of a fake. I wouldn't buy it again. Not recommended.
Compared to previous irons from the same brand, it has more than a meter shorter cable.
