RICOH GR IV
RICOH GR IV
RICOH GR IV compact
Digital camera with a slimmer design and five-axis stabiliser
In a sleek black compact design, the RICOH GR IV digital camera features a new 28mm equivalent lens and a 25.74MP APS-C sensor. Compared to previous models, it's slimmer, offers advanced autofocus and five-axis image stabilisation. The new powerful image processor brings overall system speed and more accurate focusing. The camera can handle multiple subjects in the frame and five-axis stabilisation replaces the previous three-axis solution with up to 6 EV compensation. The RICOH GR IV has many features and modes and supports Full HD video recording at 60, 30 and 24 frames per second. The f/2.8 aperture combined with a fixed focal length contributes to high sharpness. Control is provided by a 3.0" LCD screen and the GR WORLD mobile app with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity for easy image transfer.

Digital camera with APS-C sensor and GR ENGINE 7 processor
The RICOH GR IV digital compact camera features a new APS-C BSI CMOS sensor with a resolution of 25.74 megapixels. The Backlit design contributes to improved image quality and effectively reduces low-light noise. The sensor in conjunction with the GR ENGINE 7 image processor ensures a fast start-up time of approximately 0.6 seconds and stable performance even at high ISO values up to 204,800. Image storage in 14bit DNG or JPEG formats is available.
Fast Focus and Full Press Snap
A digital camera with a new powerful processor offers noticeably faster and more accurate autofocus. The difference is especially noticeable when tracking moving objects and recognizing faces. When multiple faces are detected, the camera correctly evaluates the main subject. Full Press Snap function is useful for quick snapshots - it allows you to instantly refocus to a pre-selected distance, even via touch screen control.
RICOH GR IV Functions and Modes
The RICOH GR IV Compact offers a wide range of functions and shooting modes:
- Image Control - choose from up to 12 preset modes
- Save custom profile - adjust saturation, contrast, grain and other parameters
- Snap Distance Priority AE mode - works with depth of field and exposure
- Auto Ex program - fast switching between aperture and time priority
- Stabilization B. I. S. - simulation of the effect of the AA filter when undesirable optical phenomena occur
- Multiple exposure without frame rate limitation
- Advanced exposure metering - segmented, center-emphasis, spot and light metering
Compact with 28mm f/2.8 lens
The new lens brings smaller dimensions, lighter weight and faster focusing response. The digital compact retains a fixed 28mm focal length, f/2.8 aperture and an optical design with 7 elements in 5 groups. Macro mode allows focusing from 6 cm away, while the built-in ND filter reduces exposure by 2 EV for easier work with depth of field and longer exposure times.
RICOH GR IV has a compact body, new battery and better connectivity
The GR IV is slimmer than its predecessors, yet retains its lightweight and strong magnesium construction. A significant change is the new DB-120 battery with up to 250 shots. The internal memory has been increased to 53 GB and a memory card is inserted via the microSD slot. Data transfer is provided by the USB-C connector and the GR WORLD mobile app. Images and settings are displayed on a 3.0" LCD screen with 1.04 million dot resolution and anti-glare coating.
