Rollei NP-FW50 for Sony
Rollei NP-FW50 for Sony
The Rollei NP-FW50 dummy battery replaces the standard battery in Sony cameras, providing them with a continuous power supply. Thanks to its USB-C connector and Power Delivery support, you can connect your camera to a PD mains adapter or power bank. This is the ideal solution for long video shoots, live streams, time-lapse photography, or studio sessions where changing batteries would slow you down.

Reliable power for demanding projects
The main advantage of a dummy battery is the ability to power your camera indefinitely, which is crucial when recording long videos, live streaming, or shooting time-lapses. Instead of a standard battery, you insert this dummy battery into your camera and connect it to a Power Delivery-compatible source using the USB-C cable. This can be a mains adapter or a sufficiently powerful power bank that meets the 9V and 3A input requirements. The decoded chip inside the battery ensures your camera fully recognises it and communicates with it flawlessly. The braided cable, approximately one metre long, provides enough flexibility while also increasing its resistance to damage.
