Floradix is a unique liquid dietary supplement whose traditional formula allows it to be an optimal source of iron without the risk of storing excess. Floradix is suitable for women during menstruation and for pregnant and breastfeeding women. It is suitable for children in the period of growth, for adolescents, for the elderly and convalescents. For vegetarians who reject meat as the most important natural source of iron, iron supplements are virtually the only source of this indispensable substance. Floradix contains iron in the highly bioavailable organic form of ferrous gluconate. Due to the high absorption rate of iron contained in Floradix, only a very small part of the unabsorbed iron is eliminated through the digestive tract. This reduces the risk of possible side effects such as upset stomach and constipation, which are more common with elemental iron. Floradix contains iron and substances that promote its absorption. These are vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12 and C and extracts of herbs and fruit juices, wheat germ extract, yeast and rose hips. An acidic environment in the digestive tract is important for iron absorption.
Ingredients
Aqueous extracts (54 %) of: carrot root (Daucus carota), nettle leaves (Urtica dioica), spinach leaves (Spinacia oleracea), the root of creeping pyre (Agropyron repens), the fruit of fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), marine brown algae (Macrocystis pyrifera), Hibiscus sabdariffa (Hibiscus sabdariffa).
Fruit juice concentrates (29,4 %) from: pear (Pyrus communis), grape wine (Vitis vinifera), blackcurrant (Ribes nigrum), water, blackberry (Rubus fruticosus), sour cherry (Prunus cerasus), oranges (Citrus sinensis), beet (Beta vulgaris), Lemon, of carob, apples.
Aqueous yeast extract (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), Med, Rosehip extract (Rosa canina) contains 4% vitamin C, Iron II (ferrous gluconate), Wheat germ extract (Triticum aestivum), Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), Natural aroma, Vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride), Vitamin B2 (riboflavin phosphate sodium salt), Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).
Recommended dosage
Adults and children from 12 years of age:
2 times a day 10 ml. Take the product about 30 minutes before breakfast and before dinner. The 30-minute interval between meals is important in terms of iron absorption, as some components (e.g. coffee or tea) can inhibit iron absorption.
Children 6-11 years:
