Modular system
The drive's design separates the transport enclosure from the actual data storage. Instead of carrying several complete external drives, you only need to carry the separate, lightweight PRO-BLADE SSD mag modules. These modules are then inserted into a single enclosure, reducing the amount of equipment you need to transport. This approach simplifies data management and capacity expansion without needing to buy additional external enclosures.
Transfer performance and cooling
The drive connects via a USB-C connector and communicates using the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface with speeds of up to 20Gb/s. Both sequential data reading and writing happen at 2000MB/s. The transport enclosure’s body is made of aluminium and serves as a heatsink, which dissipates heat from the internal components. This mechanism helps to maintain stable performance even under sustained load.
Durability and direct recording
The PRO-BLADE SSD mag interchangeable module itself has enhanced durability. Its construction can withstand a drop from a height of three metres and a pressure of almost 1815kg. In addition, the transport enclosure supports direct recording from cameras with a USB-C output, so footage is recorded straight onto the inserted SSD module. Once the capacity is full, you can instantly swap the module for an empty one and continue working without interruption.
