Sanorin 0.5 per mille (hereafter referred to as pm) causes constriction of the inflamed blood vessels of the nasal mucosa, leading to a reduction in mucosal swelling and the release of mucus from the nose, sinuses and the tube connecting the middle ear and pharynx (Eustachian tube). This allows free breathing. The therapeutic effect usually occurs within 5 minutes and lasts 4-6 hours. Sanorin 0.5 pm is used to relieve symptoms in acute rhinitis, maxillary sinusitis, Eustachian tubeitis and otitis media. For otitis media, use Sanorin 0.5 pm only after consulting your doctor. Sanorin 0.5 pm can be given to children over 3 years of age and adolescents. If you do not feel better within 3 days or if you feel worse, you must consult a doctor. Package size is 10 ml.
Dosage and method of use
Recommended dosage of the product, unless otherwise directed by a physician, is:
children aged 3 to 6 years are given 1-2 doses and children aged 6 years and adolescents up to 15 years 2 doses. The product is injected into both nostrils several times a day (3 times a day is sufficient). There must be an interval of at least 4 hours between doses. The preparation is used for a short period of time. It should not be taken for more than 3 days. If the nasal passage becomes unblocked, treatment can be stopped earlier. Repeated administration is only allowed after a few days' interruption of treatment.
Contraindications
Read the package insert carefully. Sanorin 0.5 pm should not be given to children under 3 years of age.

Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Keep in the original packaging and box to protect the product from light. Protect from frost. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box and label after "EXP". The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
