Septonex skin spray 45 ml

Septonex contains the surfactant carbethopendecinium bromide, which prevents the growth of bacteria and some viruses. Adults and children can use the product for routine disinfection of minor skin wounds without consulting a doctor. In addition, Septonex is used to treat minor manifestations of skin suppuration manifested by redness, swelling and scabs, even when they occur on the hairy part of the head.
Only on a doctor's recommendation can the product be used to disinfect post-operative scars and fistulas.

💊 Use

After removing the protective cover, spray the area to be disinfected from a distance of about 10 cm by pressing the mechanical pump with the spray gun to form a continuous thin layer. If one press is not sufficient to cover the entire area to be treated, spraying can be repeated according to the extent of the area to be treated. When spraying, the container must be held in an upright position.
Do not use Septonex for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor. If symptoms at the wound site do not improve or worsen within 3 days, see a doctor.

🍃 Ingredients

The active substance is carbethopendecinium bromide. One ml of the solution contains 8.3 mg of carbethopendecinium bromide. Excipients are propylene glycol, povidone 25, ponceau 4R, orange yellow, ethanol 96% and purified water.

⚠️️ Warning

Children:
Septonex contains 746 mg of alcohol (ethanol) in 1 ml, equivalent to 92% (v/v). In newborns (both preterm and term), high concentrations of alcohol can cause severe local reactions and systemic toxicity due to significant absorption through immature skin (especially under occlusion, i.e. when covering the treated area with impermeable material).
Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you think, that you might be pregnant, or you're planning to get pregnant, check with your doctor or pharmacist first, before using this product. Septonex can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding on the advice of a doctor.
Read the package leaflet carefully before taking the medicine. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Keep out of reach of children. In case of side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

📦 Storage

Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C in the original inner packaging to protect the product from light. Flammable! Do not use near an open flame. Do not use after the expiry date marked on the packaging. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated.
