SeptoZINC is special, eye, sterile, Isotonic, rinse solution with the addition of antiseptic and synergistic additives zinc gluconate 1mg/ml and benzalkonium chloride 0.02%.
Dosage and method of use
Dosing:
To soothe the eyes and to support the treatment of conjunctivitis and eyelid inflammation, drip 1-2 drops into the lower temporal conjunctival sac 3 times a day. When flushing anything foreign out of the eye, we apply the solution until the foreign substance or foreign body is removed, or the discomfort is alleviated. SeptoZINC can be taken by adults, adolescents and children from 1 year of age.
Use:
Zinc gluconate and benzalkonium chloride have a disinfectant (antibacterial and virostatic) effect in the eye. These characteristicproperties of the combination of the named substances are used in the prevention and supportive treatment of infections of the eye.
Contraindications
SeptoZINC must not be used in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product.
Notice
It does not affect attention when driving, operating machinery and working at heights that require increased attention. However, when injected into the conjunctival sac, blurred vision may occasionally occur transiently. Therefore, the above-mentioned activities requiring increased attention can only be carried out after this temporary effect has worn off. In the event of an overdose or accidental ingestion by a child, treatment is symptomatic.
Secondary symptoms:
SeptoZINC is usually very well tolerated. Sensitive individuals may experience transient mild burning immediately after application. Hypersensitivity reactions may occur.
