Shanling H7 is one of the first devices to implement a brand new converter circuit designed by AKM. It consists of two chips, the AK4499EX DAC chip and the AK4191EQ Delta-Sigma modulator. This is a completely new form of conversion that surpasses even the brand's previous flagship, the AK4499 DAC chip. As one of the few portable amplifiers available, the H7 also offers direct lossless music playback straight from its microSD slot. It also features a third-generation XMOS XU316 chipset, which ensures top-class digital input processing quality and support for playing high-quality PCM, DCD, and MQA files. The amplifier supports Bluetooth 5.0 for maximum convenience.

A practical solution on the go
The H7 offers three headphone outputs and three gain levels. When using the balanced output on the high gain setting, it delivers up to 1.3W of power, which is enough for the vast majority of audiophile headphones. On the other hand, it has a very low noise floor, so on the low gain setting, you can also use the H7 with very sensitive headphones. The device contains two standard 18650 batteries with a total capacity of 6800mAh. Combined with a dedicated PMU chip for better power management, this provides ample capacity for practical use and extends battery life.
