Shelly Flood Gen4 is a device, that brings water protection everywhere, where the risk is - the cellars, bathrooms, Kitchen, washing machines, car washes or holiday properties. Thanks to the extendable cable up to approx. 150 m, you can place the sensor where there is a risk of long-distance water leakage, e.g. under appliances or along pipes. The device has several key modes: Flood Detection mode to detect actual flooding, Rain Detection to detect water on the sensor cable e.g. in the event of rain, and three alarm levels (Intense, Normal, Economic) as required - for example, if you visit the property less frequently. The advantage is that it is battery powered (4× AA), so there is no need to pull the power supply, and the lifetime is estimated at about 2 years. IP44 protection against splashing water; but the body itself is not designed for total immersion. Connectivity is possible via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or Zigbee, including the Matter standard. You will be able to receive notifications, switch other devices within automations (e.g. shut off the water supply when there's a leak), and control everything through the Shelly app.
