The SMLIGHT SLZB-07Mg24 USB adapter lets you create and expand a wireless Zigbee network for your smart home devices. It uses the Silicon Labs EFR32MG24 chip and, depending on the installed firmware, supports Zigbee Coordinator, Router, and Thread Border Router modes. The external antenna with +3dB gain ensures stable wireless communication and network coverage. The adapter is compatible with Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT, ZHA, OpenHAB, ioBroker, and HomeSeer. You can connect it via USB to a computer, server, NAS, or Raspberry Pi. It supports firmware updates using the SMLIGHT Web-Flasher tool and is designed for continuous 24/7 operation.

Three operating modes
In Zigbee Coordinator mode, the SMLIGHT SLZB-07Mg24 can act as the main coordinator of your wireless Zigbee network. Zigbee Router mode lets you extend its coverage and support communication between devices in a mesh network. With the Thread Border Router firmware, you can use the adapter to connect Thread / OpenThread devices to an IP network. It supports integration with smart home platforms via Zigbee2MQTT, ZHA, and other compatible systems. You can switch between modes by updating the firmware using the SMLIGHT Web-Flasher online tool.
