Sony Alpha A7 II + FE 50mm F1.8 lens

Razor-sharp

The Sony Alpha 7II captures stunning images with greater clarity than ever before, even in the toughest conditions. The exceptional combination of a Full-Frame sensor and 5-axis image stabilization system provides great image quality. The highly effective 4.5-step compensation lets you confidently zoom in on faraway subjects, snap detailed close-ups and capture night scenes with minimal camera shake blur, richer colour gradations, realistically reproduced details and low noise.

Speed and precision

You will never again fail to capture the perfect moment. The Alpha boasts hybrid autofocus which delivers extremely high-speed response, highly accurate prediction, wide autofocusing area, and a dependable tracking system. It’s remarkably fast for a full-frame camera AF system (30% faster than the preceding model). By utilizing a 117-point automatic phase focus along with contrast detection, the autofocus covers a wide area in which it can smoothly and quickly track fast-moving subjects.

Keep an eye on everything

The electronic Tru-Finder™ viewfinder offers 100% frame coverage and will display the entire scene along with information about capture settings. The refined shape of the grip gives you a more secure grasp of the camera, making operation more comfortable. The high-resolution 3.0" display boasts great readability in any lighting and can be tilted according to your preferences. It also makes it easy to utilise the built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with NFC support.

Endless possibilities in the palm of your hand

You can easily assign any of the 56 functions to the 10 buttons to adjust the controls to your preference. Exposure settings can be adjusted via the front and rear control dials. The advanced Sony multi-purpose base offers compatibility for external flashes, remote controls, microphones, and all manner of other accessories, including additional E-mount lenses.

Excellent quality and functionality

The Sony Alpha 7II supports sequential shooting at 5fps to help you search for that perfect moment. For Full HD videos, autofocus will keep the image constantly clear and focused without any need for manual object tracking.

Not limited by lighting

With the camera you'll also get a top-notch lens with medium focal distance and very good aperture. Use it to capture playful shadows, moody interiors, and create stunning images even in situations where ordinary lenses would stretch exposition times too long and produce blurring.

Manufacturer information

Sony Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1946. Its headquarters is located in Tokyo. Its beginnings were humble. The first product sold under the Sony brand was a transistor radio. It was those radios that played a pivotal role in the company's expansion in the 1960s and the world quickly began to associate Sony products with a reliably stellar price-performance ratio.

In the 1970s, Sony was severely affected by the global economic crisis. Many analysts considered the company effectively defunct and could see no future for it. However, they underestimated the famous Japanese perseverance and courage. The crisis was not a disaster for Sony; on the contrary, it served as a launching pad to even greater heights. The company recovered and soon changed the media landscape with the development of the CD and later the DVD. In the early 1990s, Sony achieved another major success with the introduction of the PlayStation gaming console. It is the gaming consoles that best represent the intersection of the three key areas in which the company operates today – electronics, video games, and the entertainment industry.
