The new lightweight and compact PXW- Z150 camcorder brings 4K shooting to the hands of the single-operator. Its ergonomic design makes recording easy and comfortable. The PXW- Z150 uses a 1.0-inch type stacked CMOS image sensor capable of 4K resolution (4096 x 2160).  With the full pixel read-out you can realise the full potential of the big 1.0 type sensor - there’s no need for pixel binning or line skipping which can result in a moiré effect.

Professional sensor

The 1.0-inch type stacked CMOS image sensor delivers a 2x increase in read-out speed compared to a conventional 1.0 sensor for stunning 120fps slow motion in Full HD and spectacular 4K recording. The sensor was developed specifically for professionals so you can look forward to high-quality shots even in difficult conditions.  

High-quality video

Shoot documentaries, films, or commercials with this professional camera. The UHD (3840 × 2160) can be recorded at speeds of up to 30 fps. The camcorder is compatible with SD/SDHC/SDXC that can be placed in each of the two card slots. The PXW- Z150 can be used in the same way as conventional professional handy-type cameras. The content can be recorded with the help of the viewfinder or the 3.5" display.

High-quality lens

The Wi-Fi allows for wireless transmission of videos to smart devices, social networks or the cloud. Focus, zoom, aperture settings and ‘record start/stop’ can be  controlled remotely by  using the browser function of a smartphone or tablet. You can also use the NFC for wireless connection. The High Frame Rate continuous recording in Full HD quality delivers beautiful 5x slow motion. Stunning 4K picture performance is supported with 4K XAVC Long GOP at 100Mbpsh.  
The camera is equipped with a lens resistant to dust and moisture.  To maximise the quality of your images, the Z150 has a stunning optical 12x zoom lens that offers high resolution and contrast across the entirety of the image 12x optical zoom.

Sony Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1946. Its headquarters is located in Tokyo. Its beginnings were humble. The first product sold under the Sony brand was a transistor radio.
