The Sony STR-DN1060 receiver handles advanced surround sound formats Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, allowing you to enjoy a high-resolution soundtrack for Blu-ray. Thanks to these audio formats reproducing lossless audio you will be able to enjoy sound almost like at the cinema.

Enough ports to connect all the peripherals

On the back of the receiver you can find five HDMI ports, two HDMI outputs, optical and coaxial digital connections and plenty of analog connectors. So you can seamlessly connect all multimedia capabilities, including a game console or Blu-ray player. The front HDMI port and one in the rear can also be used as a standard MHL connector, which is to play mobile content from a number of mobile phones.

Playing in the second and third zone

There is a second HDMI output for playback of content used in the next room. The three-zone system allows you to listen to the same audio output in three rooms. In addition, the receiver can handle two separate inputs at once. This allows you, for example, to be in the living room and watch a movie in the next room while listening to your favourite music.
