How to set the CAT case TSA lock
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default is 0-0-0).
2. Press the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and make sure you remember it.
4. Push the button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new code is now set. If you want to change your code again, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers and open the case, enter the correct code and push the button in the direction of the arrow (the factory default is 0-0-0 if you haven't set your own code yet).
TSA lock
The TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is primarily designed to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without causing damage. It can also speed up the inspection process. Security staff can use this type of lock to open and check luggage without having to break it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key used to open that specific lock. TSA master keys are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA agents. After inspecting your luggage, these agents are required to place a notification of inspection inside your case and must lock it again. The system is particularly recommended for travel to the USA, as the TSA is a US organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
