Soft DS MAX sole for better feel

The Guardian ST are equipped with a DS MAX sole, a softer compound developed for high grip and sensitivity. The sole offers excellent contact with resin surfaces, significantly improving grip on small footholds, rounded volumes and during moves that require speed and control. The increased flexibility helps the rubber to better conform to the wall's unevenness. The design also supports dynamic movements and quick footwork changes, which are typical for indoor bouldering. In addition to the rubber used, EB has also reworked the internal construction of the climbing shoe to maintain a balanced ratio between flexibility, support and stability while climbing.

Perforated midsole for a balance between flexibility and support

The midsole contains several strategically placed perforations that allow for greater deformation in the areas where the foot needs it, while maintaining sufficient structural support for precise foot placements. This technology offers an interesting compromise for climbers who find some climbing shoes too stiff on artificial walls.
