The Garmin Bike Speed Sensor is compatible with select Garmin bike computers and smartwatches. It is able to measure the speed and the distance travelled using information from the wheel rotation. It offers versatile use, allowing safe use both for indoor riding on a turbo trainer and classic outdoor cycling. You can also use it when you need to measure the elevation, which is a great advantage over GPS measurements, which usually only measure the horizontal distance.

Easy Installation and Setup

Installing and adjusting the sensor is very easy and can be done in less than 5 min. It is installed directly on the front wheel's hub (in the centre). After installing it, you simply pair it with your smart device and allow the automatic GPS calibration for accurate real-time measurements. You do not have to manually enter the wheel circumference.
