Instructions for setting the TSA trunk lock
The TSA lock is positioned on the cases so that both zipper sliders can be locked into it. To unlock it, you need to know a three-digit numeric code, which you can set yourself before using the luggage for the first time. New and unused luggage has a factory code set to 0-0-0 in most cases. To change the code after purchasing a suitcase with a TSA lock, please do the following:
1. Press the button (A) to release the zipper slider.
2. Using a pen or other tool, press the reset button until you hear a click.
3. Dial the new numeric code and press the (A) button again to save the combination.
4. Insert the zipper slider into the lock and select any combination. If the setting works, the lock will remain locked when you press the (A) button.
5. To open the boot, dial the new number combination you have selected and press the button (A) to release the zipper slider.
The design of the TSA locks may vary between suitcase types. Please follow the instructions you will receive with your luggage.
