Jurek FAMILY 5

Jurek FAMILY 5
The Jurek FAMILY 5 is a double-skinned, three-pole “tunnel” family tent with one bedroom, designed for camping and outdoor stays in up to moderately demanding conditions. The inner tent (bedroom) is firmly attached to the groundsheet. It is suspended from the inside of the flysheet using toggles. The entrances, like the ventilation windows, are equipped with a fine-mesh mosquito net to protect against annoying insects. The outer tent (flysheet) is suspended on the pole structure using sleeves and is secured at the bottom by inserting the pole ends into pins. In front of the bedroom entrance is a large porch, suitable for sitting. The entrances can be opened wide, and the front entrance can be converted into a shelter against the sun and light rain using support poles. Pegging loops on the edges are used for anchoring. There are ventilation dormers on the sides. There is a gap between the walls of the inner and outer tent, which improves thermal comfort, ventilation, and reduces condensation.

Pitching Instructions:
1. If not already attached, suspend the inner tent from the inside of the flysheet (outer layer) using the toggles.
2. Unroll the tent with the groundsheet facing the ground.
3. Assemble the duralumin poles (check that all segments have clicked into the connectors), thread them through the sleeves on the flysheet (shorter silver poles at the ends, longer gold pole through the middle sleeve), and insert the ends onto the duralumin pins.
4. Using the hooks on the elastic cords, attach the corners of the inner tent to the rings on the bottom edge of the flysheet.
5. Tension the edges of the flysheet and secure with pegs.
6. Peg out the flysheet walls using the guylines and pegs (or rocks) on the anchor points.
7. The front entrance can be unzipped vertically and propped up with the support poles to create a shelter (anchor with the longer guylines at the tips of the poles).
To pack the tent away, follow these steps in reverse order.
