The coconut is a type of fruit that grows in tropical zones around the world. Coconut chips are obtained from the flesh of sun-dried coconuts, which is called "copra" when dried. The flesh has a golden hue and a crisp consistency. Moreover, it is neither gluten nor lactose free. Coconut chips from NATU come from organic farming and are a great alternative to fried chips. Coconut chips have variable uses in the kitchen. You can add them to breakfast cereals, muesli, yoghurt, garnish salads, desserts and ice cream or combine them with other dried fruits to create original mixes.
