Anatomically shaped hood

The open hood design lets you fully tighten the face opening with one hand using a drawcord positioned at 11 o'clock, making it incredibly easy to use. The sophisticated shoulder collar can also be adjusted with one hand to prevent heat loss, and its clever design eliminates the need for annoying velcro, press studs, or magnets.

The R-series sleeping bags are filled with recycled duck down with a fill power of at least 650+ cuin. The 870g fill is distributed in a 50:50 ratio (top : bottom) and the Z-chamber construction guarantees an optimal loft in any sleeping position. This makes it a great choice for year-round use for hardy campers, while serving as a reliable three-season bag with a massive insulation reserve for those who feel the cold. The outer shell is made of durable Toray Airtastic fabric (38g/m²) with a water-repellent DWR finish. A down-filled baffle runs along the entire main zip to prevent precious heat from escaping. The straight central zip design makes the overall insulation even more efficient.
The zip – a small detail with huge potential
Patizon sleeping bags feature straight semi-automatic SHZ zips with double sliders. To reduce heat loss and lower the overall weight, the zip has a gauge of 3mm instead of the standard 6mm. The semi-automatic slider has two positions – STOP and GO – which makes handling the zip incredibly easy. In the STOP position (puller facing down), the zip locks in place and will not open on its own, eliminating the need for velcro or snap fasteners. In the GO position (puller facing up), you can open the zip simply by pulling the sides of the sleeping bag apart. The zip also features an ergonomic puller for reliable and comfortable zipping.
Clever details and extra accessories
An internal zipped pocket measuring 20×12cm is a practical addition. Dedicated loops for hanging the sleeping bag during drying or storage are also included. What is more, you get a spacious storage sack to keep the sleeping bag stored correctly, maintaining its loft and maximizing its lifespan. The lightweight yet durable 10L compression sack packs this high-performance sleeping bag down to an absolute minimum of 23×27cm.
