TSA lock
The TSA lock system, marked with the red diamond symbol, primarily lets security staff open your luggage easily during inspections without damaging it. This also speeds up the check process. TSA security officers can open and inspect your suitcase using this type of lock without destroying it. All TSA locks feature a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key designed to open them. Keys to TSA locks are not available to the public and are only accessible to TSA personnel. After inspecting your luggage, they must place a notification of inspection inside your suitcase and lock it again.
