TSA lock
TSA lock systems, marked with a red diamond symbol, are primarily designed to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without causing damage. This also helps speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can open and check luggage with this type of lock without having to destroy it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key used to open that specific lock. Keys for TSA locks are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA personnel. After inspecting the luggage, officers are required to place an inspection notice inside your case and must relock it.
