How to set the TSA lock on the Samsonite Duffle/WH Underseater Black wheeled bag
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default is 0-0-0).2. Press the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.3. Set your new number on the dial and be sure to remember it.4. Push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new code is now set. If you want to change your code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers to open the case, enter the correct code and push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow (the factory default code is 0-0-0 if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of the TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damaging it. This also speeds up the inspection process. TSA security officers can use this type of lock to open and inspect luggage without having to break the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key used to open that specific lock. Keys for TSA locks are not sold commercially and are only available to TSA agents. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place a notice of inspection inside your case and must re-lock it. It is particularly recommended for travel to the USA, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
