Instructions for setting the TSA lock on the Samsonite Duffle/WH Underseater Blue Nights wheeled bag
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default is 0-0-0).2. Press the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.3. Set your new number on the dial and remember it well.4. Push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will now return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new numerical code is now set. If you want to change your numerical code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers to open the case, enter the correct code and push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow (the factory default code is 0-0-0 if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of the TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without being damaged. This also speeds up the inspection process. TSA security officers can use this type of lock to open and inspect the luggage without having to destroy the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key used to open this kind of lock. TSA lock keys are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA officers. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place an inspection notice in your case and the case must be locked again.
