Maximum variability of use

With a long tail, the lure moves from side to side, leaving behind snake-like churning water. With a short tail, the lure will glide quickly through the water with a large range to the side. With its tail turned down, it will move between half a metre and a metre below the surface. When the tail is screwed upwards, the head will be pushed upwards and the body will again move just below the surface, but now with a greater range of sideways movement.
