How to set the Solier suitcase TSA lock
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory preset is 0-0-0).
2. Press the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and remember it well.
4. Push the button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new code is now set. If you want to change your code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers to open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the button in the direction of the arrow (the factory default is 0-0-0 if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of TSA locks, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow baggage to be easily opened for inspection without being damaged. This can also speed up the inspection process. Security officers can use this type of lock to open and inspect the baggage without having to destroy the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key intended for opening this type of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not available for public sale and are only available to TSA personnel. After inspecting the baggage, these officers are required to place an inspection notice in your suitcase and the suitcase must be relocked.
