How to set the Solier suitcase TSA lock
You can change the number combination by following these steps:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory preset is 0-0-0).
2. Push the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and remember it well.
4. Push the button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new code is now set. If you want to change your numeric code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers to open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the button in the direction of the arrow (the code is preset to 0-0-0 from the factory, if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of the TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damaging it. It can also speed up the inspection process. Security officers can use this type of lock to open and inspect the luggage without having to break the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key intended for opening this type of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not sold commercially and are only available to TSA officers. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place a notice of inspection inside your suitcase and the suitcase must be locked again.
