Tip construction and use
The feeder tip is made of carbon fibre and fitted with six larger eyes, which help to achieve longer casts. An important parameter is the 3oz casting weight. This does not indicate the casting weight of the rod, but the minimum weight of an empty feeder or lead needed for proper balance and sensitive bite detection. For this tip, you should therefore use a weight of at least 84 grams to keep it in balance with the rig.
