Instructions for setting the T-class suitcase TSA lock
You can change the number combination by following these steps:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory preset code is 0-0-0).
2. Push the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and memorise it well.
4. Push the button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new code is now set. If you wish to change your numerical code again, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers to open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the button in the direction of the arrow (the factory preset code is 0-0-0 if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of a TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damaging it. This also speeds up the inspection process. TSA security officers can use this type of lock to open and check luggage without having to break the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key designed to open that kind of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not available for public sale and are only accessible to TSA staff. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place a notification of inspection inside your suitcase and must lock it again.
