How to set the TSA lock on your T-class suitcase
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default is 0-0-0).
2. Press the reset button with a pen or another pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and remember it well.
4. Push the button in the direction of the arrow.
This will return the reset button to its original position, and you will hear a click. Your new number code is now set. To change your code again, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip sliders and open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the button in the direction of the arrow (the factory default code is 0-0-0 if you have not yet set your own).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of the TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without causing damage. It also helps speed up the inspection process. Security officers can use this type of lock to open and check luggage without having to destroy the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key used to open that specific lock. Keys for TSA locks are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA personnel. After inspecting the luggage, officers are required to place an inspection notice in your suitcase and relock it.
