The CROX.X Lady women's ice skates are very lightweight and well-insulated, designed for recreational sport and fun on the ice. The outer three-part shell is made of a sturdy PE material that maintains its toughness down to -25°C. The blade is attached to the boot with transverse screws. The top collar tightens to the foot with a double-sided buckle with a safety lock. The functional material used for the inner liner is reinforced NYLON/NYLEX. The inner padding is anatomically shaped around the ankle and Achilles tendon. The medium-stiff bandage ensures a firm and comfortable fit for the foot in the boot. Inside the boot is an anatomical insole that better transfers movement from the foot to the skate. The foot is further secured with a 45° instep Velcro strap and a buckle strap around the shin. The very pleasant inner 'short fine fur' material provides better thermal insulation and makes putting the skates on and taking them off comfortable. The skate blade is made of stainless – high-grade, heat-treated steel, HRC 53–54.
